Ribeye

Made this for my hubby, beef steak ribeye from MeatMen @MeatMenButchery recommended by my old buddy Dr Chris

Here is a simple recipe for cooking a ribeye steak:
Ingredients:
1 (7oz) ribeye steak, 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Instructions:
Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper.
Add the oil or melted butter to the skillet and wait until it starts to smoke.
Carefully place the steak in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until it develops a golden-brown crust.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for about 6-8 minutes for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Enjoy your delicious ribeye steak!
p.s. the naturel Brown Rice 50% and 50% Jasmine White Rice are steamed and sides today is sauerkraut made by yours truly 😉
